Class Information

 

  • Please arrive by 7:45am on your first day of class to find you way around the training location

    • day classes run 8:00am-4:30pm​

    • night classes run @ 5:30pm-8:30pm (when scheduled)

  • Upon arrival, students should obey all traffic signs and park in non-numbered parking spaces

    • numbered parking spaces are reserved for faculty 

  • Light Duty Alignment class is held in the "Main Building" of Northwest Technical Institute

    • south end of building has a sign recognizing it as a Hunter Regional Training Center"

    • proceed to classroom "136"

  • Heavy Duty Alignment class is held in "Building C"

    • located east of the main building

    • look for all the HD trucks

    • enter building and proceed to classroom "604"

  • Student breaks

    • morning 9:45am-10:00pm​

    • afternoon 2:45pm-3:00pm

  • Lunch breaks

    • 12:00 pm-1:00 pm daily​ (lunch is not provided)

    • several area restaurants are within a few miles

    • menus range from “fast-food” to “sit-down” variety

Student Information

​

  • Students are required to dress appropriately for "classroom" and  "in shop/hands on" activities

    • work uniforms are not required​

    • no shorts will be allowed

    • no offensive logo apparel will be allowed

    • you may be required to wear a face mask 

  • Appropriate safety glasses are required for "in shop/hands on" activities

    • students that have prescription safety glasses are required to have approved side shields​

    • clear lenses only

  • Appropriate footwear is required for "in shop/hands on" activities

    • steel toed shoes/boots not required

    • oil/slip resistance soles preferred 

    • no open toed shoes will be allowed​

  • Students requirements

    • have a positive attitude

    • bring something to write with

    • not to bring any hand tools

    • follow all the rules as outlined by the Instructor and Training Center Location (quick orientation on first day of each class) and will be asked to leave if any rules as outlined by the Instructor and Training Center Location are not followed (no refunds of class tuition will be given)
